There’s something about becoming a mother that softens the way you see the world. It slows you down. Sharpens your focus. Deepens your appreciation for all the small, sacred things that once passed by unnoticed. That’s what happened to me.
After 8 years of photographing over 250 weddings across Australia and internationally with my husband at Mitch Birchall Studios — I found myself behind the lens in a different way. Holding my daughter Emilie, documenting our life on the Sunshine Coast, I realised these quiet, everyday moments held the kind of beauty I never wanted to forget. And I knew I wasn’t the only one who felt that way.
I believe in capturing your family the way it really feels — honest, tender, full of soul. Because these are the days you’ll want to remember forever.

I bring the same artistic instinct, calming presence, and editorial polish I’ve refined through years of photographing weddings into every family session I shoot — with a deep understanding of what matters most in this season of life. My approach is gentle, guided, and natural.
I won’t ask your toddler to smile on cue or pose you into stiff positions. Instead, I’ll direct with intention and give you space to simply be — knowing exactly when to step in, and when to hold back and let the moment unfold. That balance comes from experience — and you’ll feel it from the moment we meet.
